MELS i-Teaching (Phonics and English Language)
The app provides preschool’s classrooms with the teacher-led interactive digital activities. Teachers can lead children with songs, stories to read, and visual & verbal contents to learn phonics and basic English language. The system is divided into three levels: Bronze (Pink & Orange colours); Silver (Blue and purple colours) and Gold (light and dark green colours). In the Bronze level, children learn the letter sounds of A to Z, words initiated with A-Z (how to say the words and the meaning of the words by matching them with the images), the description of words, short sentences reading, non-phonics words and sentence formations. The silver level provides activities and contents to help children to blend the words in CVC (Consonant-vowel-consonant) forms, double consonants, digraphs, initial & final blends, the meaning of the words, basic reading skills and the simple conversational activities. Finally, the Gold level contains phonics in phonograms, critical thinking skills in reading, and the meaning of the words.
